1,000 kilometers, around 14,000 meters of elevation gain, and up to two days nonstop on a road bike: the TORTOUR is one of the most extraordinary challenges in cycling. In 2026, gloryfy will be participating as an official partner of the ultracycling event for the second time.

 

 

What is the TORTOUR?

The TORTOUR is considered the world’s largest multi-day nonstop ultracycling event. The main race covers around 1,000 kilometers through Switzerland and is completed day and night, solo or as part of a team. In 2026, the TORTOUR will take place from August 13 to 16 and return to its roots, with the start and finish in Schaffhausen. 

In addition to the premier distance, participants can choose from other formats covering 500, 250, and around 50 kilometers. This makes the TORTOUR suitable for experienced ultracycling athletes as well as road cyclists taking on an extraordinary long-distance challenge for the first time.

What all distances have in common is the unique combination of endurance, mental strength, and team spirit. Anyone spending many hours in the saddle is not only battling elevation gain and exhaustion, but also changing weather, darkness, and their own mind.
